Finding the Right Level of Care
Mood, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders
At Insight Behavioral Health Centers, we are dedicated to helping you best manage life with a mood, anxiety or trauma-related disorder. We believe that, with treatment, you can learn how to better handle life’s challenges, garner a stronger sense of self and identify what’s important to you.
Our caring team of professionals works closely every day with people who suffer from mood, anxiety and trauma-related disorders. These experienced clinicians help individuals build effective coping skills, knowledge, and competence to find recovery and maintain progress for the long-term.
Individualized mental health treatment
At Insight, we believe that starting mental health treatment should not be a challenging or confusing experience. We recognize just how sensitive you may feel when mental health issues are overwhelming and we pledge to make your adjustment to treatment as smooth as possible — supporting and educating you throughout the entire process.
You may wonder what program and level of care is right for you.
Customized, individualized treatment plans for adults and adolescents with mood, anxiety and trauma-related disorders are available at the levels of care listed above.
Making the right decision for you
The appropriate level of care for each patient is determined based on current and past mental health symptoms as well as past treatment history. Each of our programs offers direct-admit as well as step-down levels of care — to help patients move forward along the continuum to recovery.
As patients step down to lower levels of care, they achieve more autonomy and have more opportunities to practice their skills — “exploring” their recovery in a thoughtfully structured and supportive environment.
During the entire treatment process, our highly-skilled clinical and support staff work to help our patients identify and address any weaknesses — preparing them for success at the next level of care. This helps each patient create a sustainable recovery. Additionally, our helpful and healing environment is specifically designed to meet each patient’s unique needs.
Specializing in therapies that work
At Insight, we offer a number of approaches and modalities to help you reach your recovery goals, including the following:
- Family therapy
- Group therapy
- Nutrition services
- Medication management
- Alternative programming: such as substance use education, art therapy, movement therapy, and yoga
Experiential therapy groups broaden the ways one can connect to the mind, body, and self. Through art, yoga, music, and movement groups we offer a diverse and creative outlet for those who connect with emotions in a variety of ways. We recognize that not everyone is comfortable or familiar with these mediums. We invite and encourage participants to try and find willingness to learn new ways to find recovery and connection.
Programming at Insight is developed around helping you identify patterns in your behavior, emotions, thoughts, and relationships. Groups and activities are structured to help you develop specialized skills to:
- Become more attuned and aware
- Cope with life’s stressors
- Achieve a better understanding of yourself and your relationshipsMaintain a healthy, more balanced life
Our staff will work side-by-side with you to assist you in decreasing and managing unhelpful behaviors, meeting daily challenges, and maintaining your safety. We want to help you transfer the skills you learn in our program to your life outside, supporting you in achieving your individual interpersonal, academic, professional, and personal goals — as you build a life worth living.
