Our Approach to Excellence in Behavioral Health Treatment

Based in Denver, CO, Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center is licensed as a behavioral hospital specializing in the treatment of eating disorders and mood, anxiety and trauma-related disorders by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, the governmental agency that regulates hospitals in the state of Colorado.

Pursuant to hospital licensure requirements, Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center operate under the guidance of a Board of Directors, in conjunction with an organized medical staff, with registered nurses onsite on a continuous basis. All treatment is provided under the supervision of a licensed physician credentialed by the medical staff to practice in their area of medical training and specialization.

Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center were meticulously planned and built to be fully compliant with the most current life-safety code standards. Program design and treatment practices are evidence-based, incorporating the collective wisdom of highly skilled and experienced treatment professionals.

Accreditation

Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center are accredited through the Joint Commission. The Joint Commission’s mission is to promote the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process that centers on enhancing the lives of the persons served.

As a center accredited by the Joint Commission, individuals with safety or quality of care concerns regarding a patient’s treatment at ERC and Pathlight have the right to contact the Joint Commission directly to make a complaint.
